That's sort of a gray area. The answer, I believe, is that they are legal to buy and own but not legal to conceal and carry. One handed opening knives like tactical folders, that open via the use of a thumb stud or thumb hole with a blade that is less than 5" are perfectly legal to own and carry in NJ. However knives that open via a switch or button such as spring assisted folders or switchblades are totally illegal in NJ. It is possible to buy butterfly knives in Army Navy surplus stores in NJ but such stores do not sell switchblades, so I am assuming it is legal to buy butterfly knives in NJ, otherwise I don't think these stores would risk selling them.
as long as it is not in your poket ad at your house it should be legal Some states prohibit or severely restrict automatic knives or switchblades as deadly or prohibited weapons, occasionally inserting exceptions to enforcement for short-bladed knives, while others such as New Hampshire and Arizona have no restrictions on sale, ownership, or possession.
spring assisted knives are legal everywhere, switchblades are not.
Because the function of such a device is to enhance its value as a weapon.
no they are not, they are considered switchblades
Yes, switchblades are legal to own and possess in New Hampshire. However, there are restrictions on carrying them in certain places and using them for illegal activities. It's always best to check the most current laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
No.
In New Hampshire, it is legal to own a Capuchin monkey as a pet without a permit. However, it's important to check with local ordinances and regulations as they may vary by city or town. Additionally, taking into account the specialized care and needs of Capuchin monkeys is crucial before considering ownership.
