depends on the voltage of the batteries.. four 12 volt car batteries would output 4x12 = 48 v
how Can you charge multiple 12 volt batteries with a car?
Cars do not have 120 volt batteries. They are 12 volt DC.
You do not need three 12 volt batteries to get 24 volts, all you need is two batteries. So I assume by using three batteries you want to increase the amperage. Wire two of the batteries in series and then wire the third battery to the second battery in parallel and you will have 24 bolts. Or you can just wire two 12 V batteries in series to get 24 V.
You get 3 of them and hook them up in series. Then you can connect them to the 36 V battery.
12 volts
It depends on the terminal voltage of the batteries, as different types of battery (or, more accurately, 'cell') have different terminal voltages. A car battery has Approx 12 V, so ten of them.
The first choice was the best: 3 x 12 v 12 Ah will give a 36 v 12 Ah battery. In series the same current goes through all the batteries so the Ah capacity does not change.
They are powered by a normal 12 volt car battery.

Modern automobile batteries are 12 volts.
