Yes they can. Carrots are very good for dogs. Our 3 dogs all love carrots, steamed or plain! It is also good for their teeth. I would give a large dog 4-6 carrots a day and a smaller one 3 or 4. Carrots can be a choking hazard though so you may want to slice them in half down the side.

∙ 7y agoAbsolutely. The chewing action is also good for their teeth and helps keep them clean. Green beans, Cucumber slices and Zucchini slices are also okay. But never feed or allow a dog to eat a raw potato.
But, do not be disappointed if your dog doesn't like carrots, beans, cucumber or zucchini. Tastes are an individual thing with pets, just like humans.
