I've had three of these dog's and as a general answer it depends how wel they are trained. However we found that cavilers that are ruby coloured tend to have a bit of springer in them so are more jumpy and tend to prefer the water.
I have a one that is 6months old and we started walking him on Friday (as that is when he was fully protected by his JABS) and he is so brainy it is untrue! He already knows sit, jump and heel when we have had him 2 weeks! His previous owner didn't train him at all, so it seems they are easy dogs to train.
My friend also has 2 of them which are both under 1yr old and they know loads of things too! Mine is also great when walking with a harness and doesn't pull at all, whereas when he had a collar he pulled like mad!
So it seems to me they are brain, easy-to-train dogs and I would suggest (if you get one) investing in a harness instead of a collar/choker.
Hope I answered your question.
i have just lost my king charles it was the most affectionate dog ever i loved that dog so much
YES!!! They are one of the sweetest dogs in the world!! I happen to own two!
they are very loyal.THEY ARE THE WORLD BEST LAP DOG.king Charles loved them.
Normally they don't. The closest they get to jumping is them standing on their hind legs.
no they are not tricky. They are loving, loyal and great to have fun with. As long as you train them properly then they shouldn't be tricky.
extremely cute
No, sadly they are not!
birds
Cavalier King Charles Spaniels first originated in Holland, Italy and France in between the 16th and 18th centuries.
no Charles spaniels don't but springer spaniels help police out and sniff out drugs
yes
cavalier king Charles spaniels
The English toy spaniels are different then the Cavalier king Charles spaniel. I personally have a cavalier and think they are much prettier and magestic, but that's just me. The main difference between the two breeds is that the English toy spaniels has a pug like mussle. The English toy spaniel are also known as the king Charles spaniel (not too be confused with the Cavalier king Charles spaniel).Try Google that should help you to.
yes, they use their noses
yes they do
They absolutely love it!!!!
Probably, and if not, there will be one one day. Dogs constantly breed new species. No there isn't but you can get King Charles Spaniels (not Cavalier) and the tend to be smaller than their Cavalier King Charles cousins
