All organ meats are packed with vitamins, minerals and protein. The only drawback is that they can contain toxins if the animal was living on contaminated food. They are generally safe, use in moderation.

I'm gonna catch heck for this, but ALL FOOD IS GOOD FOR YOU, with few exceptions. Chicken livers are high in iron, just like any other liver. They provide your body with nourishment the same way any other food does. It provides 8 mg Iron per 100g and 77 calories, with 5 grams of fat. (45 calories from fat).

This high fat content in liver is not good for you if all you ate were liver, but in a balanced diet, it is not bad for you. As always you should limit your fat intake to less than 25% of your total calories. That means eat more vegetables and grains to balance your diet. You can eat healthy and still eat "unhealthy" foods. Don't let the diet gurus push you around. If you like chicken livers go ahead and eat them, but don't eat just chicken livers, and eat a salad and some bread with them. Enjoy your meals and don't overindulge.
