I'd say "yes" because I expect the average age of a clergyman to be greater than that of the average parishioner. If that hypothesis is valid then clergymen will meet God sooner. All bets are off if Judgement Day turns out to be a discrete day on which all of us meet our maker at once.
Now, for an answer with a different connotation of "Closer"...All men are born sinful and unclean. Nobody, by his own merit, deserves anything but Hell. Jesus Christ died as the Perfect Sacrifice to redeem sinful man. All who repent their sins and who are baptized in His name are promised salvation. If you believe this, then you have the same opportunity to enter into paradise as any clergyman.
I have seen nothing in the Bible to say that people must get married by ordained clergy, and there are many stories in the Old Testament that attest to people getting married without clergy.
