Are cloudians better than infernitys

This is based on personal preference.

The Infernities only have benefits when there are no cards in your Hand. This forces the Player to have a Hand Disadvantage when compared to the Cloudian series. Also, the Cloudians tend to have more support as it has been around longer. However, Infernities also have more strategic flexibility than Cloudians. The most competitive Decks generally revolve around the "Instant Synchro" Strategy. They are also compatible with the Dark World Archetype as Dark World requires a Player to discard cards to activate effects.

Cloudians also have their own pros and cons. They are compatible with Fairy-type Decks (The Sanctuary in the Sky) and Water-Attribute Decks. They mostly rely on the Player's ability to produce a large amount of Fog Counters. Fog Counters, being what enable their effects, can help maintain Field Advantage. Cloudians are vulnerable to attack as they usually have low ATK and cannot be destroyed by battle. This makes cards such as The Sanctuary in the Sky and Spirit Barrierinvaluable in the Deck. If the opponent is able to destroy either of those cards, the Cloudian Player would be in deep trouble. Cloudian Decks usually revolve around the "Stall and Burn" strategy.
