yes corn snakes are extremely smart they can register visual cues and tell when and what time it is they also can register who you are they identify who there owner is and is uncomfortable with anyone else

Rattlesnakes have poor eyesight, but are not completely blind. Since they hunt mostly at night, they don't need to have good vision.
