I think it should be a lot harsher than it is. they shouldn't get massages and TV privileges and crap. Its ludicrous! Ive been treated worse as a kid for not doing my homework than a hardened criminal. and thats just not right.

In my opinion, one cannot give a simple either/or answer for this. There are certainly cases of unnecessarily harsh treatment and cases of unfounded lenient treatment. If you really want to know about this issue, contact your local court, and ask about observing criminal proceedings. Watching everything that goes into the process will give you the experience to form your own opinion.

Which owners are you referring too? His original owners in the 'Southland' treated him perfectly, like any dog deserves to be treated and he enjoyed life their. But, when he was kidnapped to work as a sled-dog, all of his 'owners' treated him disgracefully, but it was there job to get these dogs to work.

There is nothing good about child abuse because of the emotional and sometimes physical scars that the abuser leaves behind. The abused child becomes an empty shell and a poor remnant of their former self. All too often, the offender is let off too leniently and the child may be abused again.
