John F. Kennedy University has the preferred regional accreditation by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Therefore, the coursework will be recognized by all other colleges and universities as well as employers. There are reasons why some credits do not transfer from one institution to another as follows.

  • did not achieve the appropriate passing grade
  • course not equivalent in credit and/or course content
  • course does not fit into the intended major
  • courses may exceed the number of transfer credits allowed by the institution
Other than the above, you should have no problem transferring your credits. Still, the rule of thumb is, it's always up to the receiving college or university.
