Absolutely not
Wildwood and AC are both so different, and the reasons that one would make the trip to either boardwalk vary greatly, so it's hard to say one or the other. If you want casinos and possibly more sophisticated nightlife (depending where you go), I would say AC. For the beach, sun & fun, and more casual nightlife, Wildwood would be your best bet of the two. First thing you do is find a bus schedule to Ocean City, the next island to the south, and apply for a job on the boardwalk, which has many. In Atlantic City, again the boardwalk, is your best bet. There's also a good deal of retail employment just off the boardwalk, "the boards", at the city's main retail center called The Walk. There are also job oppurtunities on the beach, as a tag checker. It's quite common for the shore towns to employ teenagers to walk up and down the beach checking beach goers beach tags.
