∙ 13y agoThere is a dolphin fish, which is a fish like any other type of fish. The term dolphin is also the name of a species of aquatic mammal similar to the porpoise. A killer whale, or orca, is a type of dolphin. The dolphin mammal, and dolphin fish are not the same. One is a mammal and one is a fish. ∙ 13y agoThe difference is that a dolphin is a small mammal compared to a mammal whale. The only 2 alikes are that they need there blowholes for actual oxygen and last both mammals.
