Yes they are in some ways but not in others snakes and beardies are both reptiles which are both cold blooded. They both eat vermin's such as mice and even little hamsters. Bearded dragons have a lot more character and are a lot more expensive! snakes are fun but can not be handled after there feeding and they swallow there food whole. They both need heat and both live in warm countries they are also both great pets but when you think about it nothing alike.
no it is not a relative of a dragon because dragouns arent real.it is a type of lizard
No - since the dragon is a mythical creature. The Bearded Dragon got its name from its resemblance to the description of dragons in folklore.
They are both lizards, but beyond that there is fairly little relation.

Definately. Do not house bearded dragons with any other lizards. If you are going to house two bearded dragons together ensure they are the same size or else the larger one will eat the smaller one.
Bearded dragons are lizards, and, like dinosaurs, lizards are reptiles. However, no lizards, including bearded dragons, evolved from dinosaurs. Birds, on the other hand, evolved from small, feathered, insectivorous or meat eating dinosaurs that lived in trees.
Bearded Dragons get their name from the spikes that surround their lower face. And the 'dragon' part is just because they are lizards, and "bearded lizard" is boring.
I have owned several skinks, a couple of bearded dragons, many geckos, uromastyx, chinese water dragons, sailfin dragons, tegus, and several monitor lizards
No, bearded dragons are not the same as frilled necked. Bearded dragons have a more wider beard as frilled neck dragons have a smaller frill around their neck.
