The University of Miami is the best university of Florida, and it is in the top 50 of the USA. Due to it is a small university, not everyone is getting into there. Only the best students can do it. We are not talking only about the people in Florida, or even America, the people around the world there too. That is why, if you want to get into the UM you need outstanding GPA, sat scores, and an extracurricular activities record. I would say that 1500 is an average score, I am not quite sure you could get into there with that, but maybe more then 1800 and good GPA and extracurriculars you would be able of get in.
