Depends. When did they pass a law where YOU live? Fireworks are legal in some areas, in other areas they require a Pyrotechics permit. Laws were passed at different times in different places.

Fireworks should not be banned! But if they were to be banned, it would be because they can be dangerous and can cause a house to catch on fire. But still they should not be banned!

Firecrackers are legal in the UK but fireworks are not Legal. So you can bye fireworks in the UK but not firecrackers.
