Not all games, but some games are free for the iPod touch. There is an entire section dedicated to free apps under the Games section in the iTunes App Store, where you can download games free of charge. You just need an iTunes account, and enter your iTunes account password every time you download a free game. Though, most of the games are demo versions for the real game that you pay for, some free games are the full version. You can tell whether or not it is a demo when it says 'Lite' in the title or the picture of the game.
