Are GE foods produced by at one time using a bacteria or virus to inject a snippet of DNA into a nucleus of a seed safe? No, probably not in the long run, since the snippets of DNA have been found to migrate into non-food organisms. Too bad it is based on a process that happens naturally all around us. Who will die so that we can avoid having GE foods? Seems like this is being done to reduce the amount of Natural Resources required to bring us food... Profit notwithstanding.
People prefer to eat foods that are not genetically engineered because the long term effects of eating genetically engineered plants is unknown.

Some people prefer non-genetically engineered foods due to concerns about potential health risks, environmental impacts, or ethical considerations associated with genetic engineering. Others may prefer the taste or nutritional qualities of foods that are not genetically modified.
Not at all. There are many foods that you eat that have been genetically engineered to produce something better or faster than before.
Some countries have not allowed genetic engineering on their exported goods, so depending on where you get it, it wont be engineered. Some people think engineering could be harmful, and some foods cannot sucessfully be engineered.
The safety of genetically modified foods is not known. Some say studies show it is safe, but there are also studies that show it may not be safe. There is anecdotal evidence, such as doctors recommending that their patients stop eating foods that are genetically engineered and their health improving.
Some people believe GMO foods are equivalent to non-GMO foods and are safe to eat. Others question if either is true.

People have genetically modified foods to make them more insect-repellant, to give higher crop yields, to give products with more appealing qualities (flavour, texture, shelf life); this provides benefits for both producer and consumer. Some crop have been modified to be resistant to certain brands of herbicides, so that the plants are not affected when the farmer sprays the area for weeds (see the Monsanto website). Other modifications take the form of plants that are modified to be resistant to saline soils, or drought conditions. These benefits can increase the yields of crops in poorer or arid parts of the world which are normally susceptible to food shortages.
The acids found in foods, such as citric acid and lactic acid, are safe to eat because they are components of the foods, and the foods are safe to eat.
Organically, means animals/planets that don't use pesticides/ none organic fertilizers/ or genetically engineered.
I guess so, people have found dinosaur bones with ancient termite tunnels in them.
