Yes, they are fairly easy to take care of. They will live long and stay healthy as long as you give them fresh water and food daily, and clean their cage weekly. Also, make sure to give them at least 15 minutes of attention every day.
They make great pets. Best to keep in pairs, since they are social creatures. If you buy only one, they do seem to get along with you and are very friendly. Barely bite or scratch, they are great for classrom or children pets. They are easy to take care of, just like a hamster. Clean the cage weekly, bathe it monthly, and provide interaction. If you do not clean the cage within 2 weeks, an odor will occur. They are easy and affordable pets, as long as you have the right supplies and take care of them. They also make soft noises to display they're affection for their owners, so they will miss you when on vacation. Be sure to leave it with a trustworthy friend as so they are easy for them to take care of also.

Not at all! all you need to start with is a hutch/cage that's big enough for them to run about in, a water bottle, a constant supply of hay, a bowl of pellet food (the pot bowls are better as they cant push them over) & some toys(empty toilet rolls would do). You should then give them some veg or fruit everyday and make sure that they have at least 2 hours time out of the cage/hutch playing about to keep them happy and healthy, and clean out the cage once a week.
They are not very good for beginers so if you have never been a pet owner, dont get one
Rabbits are excellent pets. They do not bark, crow or climb the curtains. They are very loving and cuddly. They are easy to housebreak and do well in a cage also. They require feed (pellets) and clean water daily. You do have to be easy and gentle with them until they get used to you. AND you have to clean up there droppings just like any other pet.
I would say yess guinea pigs are hard to care for... and it takes alot of time ,money, and effort to care for them right they need a BIG cage not a little bitty one from petsmart or petco! i would recommend a c&c cage and if you dont have money or the time it takes a day to care for them i wouldent reccomend getting a guine pig or a bunny for more info u can look up on Google how to car for a guinea pig or guinea pig cages.com
my name is LuvBug787 here is my opinion.
It all depends on what type of guinea pig you are talking about or how much time you are willing to spend on the guinea pig. If you are willing to spend lots of time and you are prepared to clean its cage daily, give it a bath once a month, clip its nails on a regular basis, exercise it each and every day, make sure it gets socialized (so it will be use to people around it.), and have time to play with it.
If you think that's all exactly the limit you were looking for then its the right animal for you and if you think that's too much then the only animal good for you would be a fish because news flash animals need to be pampered and its not all fun and games.
NO! Guinea pigs are very high maitenance. They need a cup of romaine lettuce daily and a half a cup of fruits and veggies daily. They also need a minimum of 7.5 feet of cage and you need to buy at least 2 guinea pigs or the one can become very lonely and depressed.
I have guinea pigs, they are very easy to look after. They just need their daily food, water and sometimes treats.
No. Just get it a cage, and give it food/water whenever it runs out or get one of those guinea pig water bottles, and clean out its cage every so often (probably once a week).
The most common one is Cavy. There might be others but it is mostly Guinea Pig and Cavy, but they DO NOT come from New Guinea nor are they part pig. Take Care and god Bless! :)
Princess Diana won an award for Guinea Pig care in Norfolk when she was between ages 9 and 12.
I don't think there is a test to tell if a guinea pig is pregnant, but a pregnant guinea pig will not let you rub its stomach. If you are still unsure, take your guinea pig to a vet.
theres loads of things you can do with your guinea pig. you can handle it, or buy a special guinea pig lead and take your guinea pig for a walk around the garden, you can build and obstacle course for your guinea pig!
It is spelled "guinea pig". You got it right! :)
yes a child can handle a guinea pig
You have to take care of it
You take care of it until a person comes to adopt it.
There are a lot of places one can learn to care for a guinea pig. One can learn from a book dedicated to guinea pig care, look on the internet for pet care tips, or simply ask an expert of animal care.
$1,500-$2,000
When I had to show my parents I could take care of my guinea pig Snickers, I did a lot of research and make a packet study guide type thing. That had everything I needed to know about guinea pigs; including what they can eat and what they can't, why they need vitamin C, and toys they can have and can't have. It really showed my parents that I had the responsibility to have a guinea pig.
all pets are not easy to take care of but the guinea pig will be the best rodent pet
You shouldn't leave your guinea pig alone for 3 days. You will need someone to take care of them.
take it to the vet!! even if you don't have money, tell the vet your guinea pig is sick and you cannot afford to care for it. Because the vet is a HUMAN BEING he will take care of it and not abandone him, in a forest.
Give it to a vet and let them take care of it.
Well They both Take a lot of work Guinea pigs are social so they need to have to 2-5 guinea pigs 2 is fine. And i own them and yes they are very hard to take care of Ferrets i dont really know about but what ever you want.
you don't deliver the guinea pig babies. let the mother do her job. let nature take it's course. but i must warn you not to touch the guinea pig babies because the mother might not take care of them.
