Yes, it is. A Holland Lop is a great pet because it is normally great with kids because it is an interactive rabbit. It is fuzzy and loves toplay (normally). I would recommend getting a gray or white one though. These animals also may have bits of fur clumps in their cage, this is completely normal.
Holland Lops are raised like any other rabbit. Get a good rabbit raising book at your pet store. For Holland specific info go to arba.org to find information on the Holland Lop Rabbit Club.
They are pet rabbits (they are not raised for meat)

Definitely! I have 19 Holland Lops and I have never been bitten by any of them! I used to have Dutch/Satin crosses and one bit me once and it was hanging from my hand! Ouch! Holland Lops are my favorite breed and I suggest that if you want one, get it! Hope this helps and I hope you have fun. Clarise Renaldi

Holland Lops are a popular breed and are great for beginner rabbit keepers or children. However their are some other popular breeds and i would suggest going to a local vet, pet store, or rabbit farm.
Holland lops can cost anywhere from $20 to a $100 at a pet store, depending on the size of the store and the quality of the rabbit. Most chain pet stores don't sell bunnies at all, so you're best bet is a local pet store. Simply Google "local pet stores that sell bunnies," and you should easily find a nearby store. A short phone call should confirm that the store has Hollands.
Netherland dwarfs are often sold at local pet stores. You can find this out buy simply Googling "local pet stores that sell rabbits."
