∙ 13y agoYes, apparently. In this most recent book they kissed and they obviously have feeling for each other, but they haven't gotten to the point where they trust each other, or where they can overcome the challenges of an interspecies relationship.
Hi. No, Artemis and Holly are not in love. It does seem that way in The Time Paradox, but as Holly says later in that book, she kissed Artemis because she had been turned into an adolescent in the time stream. As soon as they returned to their own time, it evaporated.
Yes, they are. I know she was a fairy adolescent, but it clearly states that she enjoyed the kiss with Artemis, because she said, "What if I'm stuck this way forever? That wouldn't be so bad, would it?". It means that she kind of likes being younger because she likes Artemis and it seems less weird if she were a human she would be around his age. Eoin Colfer pretty much yells out that Artemis likes Holly, and usually in books like this there is most likely to be a happily ever after and how can there not be if they don't end up together? It is hinted in there if you look, they're easy to find. So to answer your question I would say 100% chance that the answer is yes. 0% Minerva Paradizo because I don't think they fit. Genius plus genius? I don't think so. Opposites attract remember? And Artemis and Holly are definitely opposites. Keep this information with you always because it is the truth.

Actually, we can't be sure yet. It depends on your idea of being in love, but it's obvious by the end of the Time Paradox they have feelings for each other more than just friendship. Maybe they're not full-out in love (yet?) but we just have to wait for it to develop...

it would seem they are but it could be because the time paradox has made holly younger so her hormones kick in making her like she was when she was younger she was also happy he was alive so it could be just happiness...

I DON'T KNOW! Maybe fairy girls are like human girls: you never know until they tell you. I have gathered this information: In the sixth book, The Time Paradox, Holly kissed Artemis, but in the seventh book, The Atlantis Complex, there are a few mentions of Holly going on a date with Trouble Kelp. Very tricky indeed...

∙ 10y agoEoin Colfer has made it pretty clear that he never wanted to imply any romantic relationship between Artemis and Holly, though he did toy with the idea in The Time Paradox.

She is a little sheepish but really liked it, and Artemis who she started calling Arty. And remember towards the end of the book Holly Short said "In another time." and then she kissed Artemis on the cheek.
When does Artemis Fowl book 8 come out?

There is no Artemis Fowl book 8 coming out yet as of now and the chance of it coming out is not known. What are some examples of Artemis Fowl being nasty?
In the First book, page 5, Artemis goes goes into great detail about how easily he could kill his contact, Nguyen Xuan, which caused the man some amount of discomfort. Later in the same book he kidnaps Holly and locks her in a concrete cell. In the 'Arctic Incident' (book 2), page 219, Artemis notes that it would be almost impossible to be dumber that Julius Root looks, but for most of the book he is either helping or being helped by the people around him, and refrains from making nasty comments. He does almost kill his father on page 273, but it was meant in love. The trend continues in the next book, although he does tell a waiter that the restaurants menu would taste better than their food in the opening chapter. In the 'Time Paradox', Artemis and Holly go back in time and visit 10 year old Artemis. Little Artemis orders Butler to tranquilize Big Artemis and Holly multiple times and locks them in a car boot (page 102-ish). On page 153 Little Artemis orders Butler to 'shoot the monkey', which would have killed it. On page 74, Artemis convinces Holly that she has started a plague that could wipe out both Humans and fairies.
Is Artemis Fowl a villain?
it says how he didn't like kidnapping holly because she was far more human than he expected. Every scene with his mother is a scene that shows he's not "compleatly evil". You see him as a child who's trying to take care of his sick mother, and who's dealing with that and the dissapearance of his father and taking care of the family finances. He gives Holly half of the fairy gold so she would heal his mother; someone who's evil and only wants money would not do such a tihng. There are little hints throughout the books, and if your really reading closely, you'll see them and just love Artemis, even in book 1. Artemis Fowl book 1 is one of my FAVORITE books. and the thing about having Holly heal his mother is right, but in the epilouge it states that he did it not just to get his mother ba ck but also because social services were looking into his case.
What is Artemis Fowl The Atlantis Complex about?
The Atlantis Complex is about Artemis having a fairy mental disorder called the atlantis complex. This includes having obsessive behavior, paranoia, delusions, and in extreme cases (which he is) multiple personality disorder. His new personality is "nice" Artemis, who cannot make plans to save the world from, as said in Eoin's interview, robots coming to probe Atlantis. Also, his other new personality is an annoying romantic, where in the most embarassing situations, proclaims his love for a certain LEP officer, which makes Kelp a little pissed off since he is also a little flirty with Holly.
