Yes, grey squirrels like to break off and discard the leaves and stem ends of these particular trees in the spring. They must be eating the tender young insides - I don't know exactly what they are looking for, but you will often find piles of dead/dying leaves and twigs under the tree. So - yes, a horse chestnut tree will attract squirrels, but you won't like it!
Yes they are.
Dogs should not eat any type of chestnuts. Chestnuts are highly toxic to them and can potentially risk your dogs health. Keep any chestnuts away from where a dog can get to them.
First, you should stablish a relation by not being on your horse (scrub him, give him food,...) . When you and the horse have a good relation, if you mount him you'll feel safe.
Squirrels hibernate by first hiding there food in safe environment and then by going into a tree to sleep for the depending time on which they wish to hibernate.
Horses should be left to eat horse food, not people food, just to be safe.

Dog food, particularly in the USA is not made from horse meat as American horses are not safe for human or animal consumption due to toxic substances used to keep horses healthy. Horse meat was banned in pet food in the USA in the 1970's. In other parts of the world horse meat may still be used but it is not common as horse meat is considered a delicacy.
My food is quite safe.
It is not safe.
It is very safe to turn a horse out without a halter. I work at a horse farm, and the only horses we turn out with halters on are those that are VERY hard to catch. Or if the horse has a tendency to escape.
Safe Haven is a place where you can sell any horse for 400e on Howrse. So if a horse isn't selling you can sell it to the Safe Haven. Or if some one says in their description in the sales "Horse is going to SH" that means that the horse will be sent to the Safe Haven.Answered by sjs123456 @ Howrse.com!!
