There is no reason whatsoever to think so; in fact every day that goes by we learn more about our genetic oneness with the other living things of this world.
As a matter of fact, though, we don't actually know for sure there are any aliens, so using them as an explanation for our existence is kinda like driving a nail into air... Someone has to be the first form of intelligent life in the universe, and it may well be us.

∙ 11y agoAliens are actually crazy mutated dogs from the future that come to earth to try to capture the great Purina Dog Chow. They will only come in peace if we give them treats on command and don't try to teach them stupid tricks. For all we know, there could be on in your neighbor's backyard...
