No, they are harmless to humans.

The only stick insect that is classed as potentially harmful is the Two-Striped Walking Stick (Anisomorpha buprestoides). This species occurs throughout Florida and around the Gulf Coastal Plain west to Texas. It is said to have a defensive spray that can cause temporary blindness if caught in the eyes.
