My parents used to smoke, but had no choice but to go cold turkey after my dad had a mini-stroke because of his high blood-pressure and smoking.
But, being as stubborn and addicted as they are, I still catch them having a few cigarettes outside on the patio with their master bedroom door locked so they can keep me from seeing them. But they forget to draw the curtains sometimes.
