Laptop computers are portable personal computers. Like desktop computers, laptops contain a display and a full keyboard. However, instead of a mouse, most modern laptops' tracking devices are touch pads. For power, laptops use A/C adapters as well as a rechargeable and replaceable battery. Full-sized laptops feature a full-sized QWERTY keyboard. Notebooks, another type of laptop computer, are smaller, lighter and less powerful than full-sized laptops. Other laptop types include tablet PC's and rugged laptops.
No they are not. Smartphones and netbooks run on completely different operating systems. Smartphones run on mobile applications and programs while netbooks are just simple, less powerful, and smaller versions of laptops.
Computers can be classified by their computing power and/or physical size. At the top are supercomputers. Then mainframes, minicomputers and microcomputers or personal computers ( PC's) Desktops, laptops and notepads are kinds of PC's. The classification is blurred nowadays by networks of smaller computers and the fact that microcomputers get more powerful all the time.
DIMM is also called a RAM stick, its a kind of circuit board used for our personal computers and laptops.
The biggest changes, I would say, is that computers got smaller and smaller and more and more powerful. (Of course, real computers aren't 100 years old yet.)
integrated circuit computer or microprocessor
Smaller laptops are often netbooks, and they are not as powerful as full-sized laptops. They generally have smaller hard drives and less processing speed. The size of the laptop does not neccessarily equate with its power. You can find very small netbooks or laptops that exceed the computing power of some desktops.
Laptops were names such because they filled your lap. Notebook computers include those the size of your lap and smaller "tablet" PCs small enough to fit in the hand that were the size of a paper notebook.
they have gotten faster and more powerful. smaller. cheaper and things like that
Netbooks are larger in size and more powerful in most cases. Netbooks are still smaller than laptops.
the cell has been developed into a full working battery with smaller but more powerful batteries today.
There are many differences between desktops and laptops. Laptops are smaller and lighter and therefore can be moved around easily for convenience. Desktops, on the other hand, are sturdier as they are bigger and are probably a safer option for people who are prone to accidents.
