Some legends are real some are not. It all depends on what you believe. If you believe in something like VAMPIRES, and millions of others do it's true. LEGENDS ARE REAL. But its you opinion whether to believe them or not.
Legends have a grain of truth to them,where as Myths faked,falsified and completely made up
