Are the particles in the gas moving fast or slow?

fast

How does heat heat up stuff?

well heat is fast moving particles they collide with slow particles which is cold and the slow particles move fast too. In the end the slow particles move faster just as heat so they are not cold anymore.

How is the energy in a liquid?

The energy is slow ; particles are close together

What happens if a liquid particles slow down?

it becomes a solid.

Do a gas' particles decrease when it turns to liquid?

No, when a gas turns to liquid the particles just slow down and get much closer together.

Which explanation best compares the movement of particles in the three states of matter?

All of the particles on each states of matter vibrates but moves a little except gas

How particles change as they change state from solid to liquid?

if its going from a solid to a liquid the particles move FAST. if its going from a liquid to a solid the particles freeze and move VERY slowly.

Does a solid have a particle speed?

it depends on how fast you pour a liquid eg: your puring a glass of water down the sink and you pure it drop drop by drop that is slow or your puring lots down at once. basicaly it depends on how fast you are puring

Does gas have fast moving particles?

yes. gas has the fastest moving particles and a solid has the slowest moving particles and particles in a liquid are moving faster than solid particles but not as fast as gas particles.

What is it called when particles slow down from a gas to a liquid?

When there is a change from a gas to a liquid, the process is called condensation.

What happens to liquid particles as they freeze?

If I am not wrong..this is what I learnt in chemistry. When a liquid is being frozen, the particles of that liquid will lose kinetic energy and slow down, causing them to move closer together. Thus, as the gaps between the particles decrease and the particles themselves get into a fixed position, it becomes a solid & the particles [only] vibrate in their fixed position. =D

Is chyme a slow moving or fast moving liquid?

It's a slow moving semiliquid.
