it does not make a difference if they are long haired
There are both long-haired and short-haired chihuahuas, so both.
about 15 years
Some of them are the normal chihuahuas you see everywhere and the others are long haired chihuahuas.
Yes. There are long haired chihuahuas mixed with terriers. They look very much like a long haired chihuahua but are slightly larger. They vary in size and can be between 8-15lbs. Mine is about 14 which is on the heavier side.
Maltese are known to be the "smartest" breed in the toy group. They are also much more loving than Chihuahuas and friendlier towards children.
Yes , they do shed because they grow and they make new hair its normal unless its in chunks then you want to see a vet .
LONG HAIRED CHIHUAHUAS - these chi's don't need to wear anything while indoors, since their fur naturally is warmer. If they are outside, then yes.SHORT HAIRED CHIHUAHUAS - Yes. Indoors or out, in the colder weather (under 55 degrees outside) you should always put a sweater on him/her. Outside, definitely get a sweater for your chi, or maybe even socks and a hat too (I don't know exactly how those work though, you know, since the erect ears and all...)So the answer is yes, unless your chihuahua is long-haired and is inside. Unless you want to buy a sweater. It won't hurt your chi any.
Chi come in appleheads or deerheads. If they are short nosed, round headed with short legs and a stubby body they are appleheads. If they are longer nosed with longer legs and longer sleeker bodies they are deerhead. Chi's also come long haired or short haired and they can come in a variety of solid colors, two toned or tri-colored.from this lady
Anything! Chihuahuas come in a huge variety of colors, and even if 2 solid color Chihuahuas were bred to each other, you still do not know what color or markings their puppies will have. The American Kennel Club does not set a standard on Chihuahua colors.
Most all chihuahuas bark to much.
if their is a long haired relative
