Nickel Cadmium batteries contain Cadmium, a toxic heavy metal, which is harmful to the environment. Nickel-Metal Hydride batteries offer a higher capacity(runtime)per same size(voltage output) than NiCd batteries and mcVolt Litium Ion laptop batteries have a higher capacity than NiMh(those sold by most manufacturers). NiMh batteries are also lighter and have little memory effect compared to their NiCd counterparts. mcVolt Li-ion laptop batteries are light, have a higher capacity and have no memory effect compared to NiMh and NiCd batteries.

Samsung laptop and hp laptop batteries are really good and last very long.As my laptop give minimum of 6 hours of internet browsing .
Energizer batteries have proven to be a better battery brand than the others. They last long and they have a wide range of battery products. Based on experience, they outlast most brands of batteries.
No, I don't think rechargeable batteries are better than the regular batteries. I have always used the regular batteries and they have always worked very well for me. I know some people that has used rechargeable batteries and said that they don't stay charged for very long.
Lenovo isn't a good laptop maker. It really depends on what you're willing to spend.
not really. if you take out the battery when plugged in you could short circuit the laptop. trust me i know.
Eneloop batteries are actually better than any other kind of batteries sold, so they are definitely worth the price you will pay for them. They do have less power though.

I have a big sized laptop and i am on my mini laptop i wouldent, say that its better then the bigger one but, its easier to carry around and hide because it fits in draws. some regular laptops have fast meger bites witch makes them better then mini ones but it really depends on what lapptop u are talking about.
mini lap tops are better if u have wifi its really portable and cute i recommend the hp mini But If you like to have a long life battery etc. then a normal laptop is a good option. If you need a portable laptop you could always look at the MacBook air!
That is a comparison question. There are some really good deals on laptop batteries on eBay, and there are also really good prices on laptops almost everywhere you look. I would say in compare them, and depending on the age of your laptop if there is a $100-$200 difference in price between a battery and a new laptop, and you can afford it, a new laptop would make economic sense. I would also look and see if I purchased another battery at the time of the new laptop purchase,,if they would give you a deal on a extra battery also!
You should get the Toshiba l45Od because Samsung is not really a computer company. If you think out of the box the Sony Vaio is the best laptop to get!
