I would say yes , we are programmed to spread our genes as wide as possible , which means sex with as many females as possible. Can men be monogomous and not show intrest in other women ? absolutly as can women. If a person wants to cheat they will however , its up to you judge if they are honest enough to tell you if they are faithful or not.
I my opinion affairs are ok as long as your partner agrees to them and is aware otherwise its just dishonest.
