Circumcision is only necessary for medical reasons.

Circumcision is the amputation of an important body part. and the only reason to do such a thing is if it is in order to treat a condition that can not be treated in any other way. For example we don't cut of a child's breasts because one day in the future they might get Breast cancer ( better do it now then wait till trouble develops). most conditions involving the foreskin are easily treated and removing it for no reason is in fact harmful.
