Our scriptures say nothing about the topic. However, a book called "For the Strength of the Youth" Tells us to avoid such things till we are older (after 16). Many of our prophets advise us that it would do good for us to follow this instruction. So for a short answer, Yes.

Oh brother. Of course they can! Go kiss one and find out!

There is a difference between a chaste kiss , an affectionate kiss , and a salacious kiss . Mormon young people are taught what is appropiate and when.

The Mormon church regards making out as something you should avoid. But this does not mean that they will cast you out if you do. This is a personal choice, so some Mormons out there will and at the same time some will not. vamps answer yes they do but not like heavely kissing just a peck on the lips

Yes! Any one can french kiss :) but some Mormons may not feel comfortable will the whole idea of French kissing.

---------

That is true. While anyone has the ability to french kiss, many Mormon teens would choose not to. In the Church's guidelines for youth, it says, "Before marriage, do not participate in passionate kissing, lie on top of another person, or touch the private, sacred parts of another person's body, with or without clothing."

Of course! Most members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" church) choose to follow the guidelines given by the prophet, which includes not dating until at least age 16 and not participating in serious romantic relationships until reaching legal marriage age. Passionate kissing is usually reserved for serious relationships and married couples, but casual kisses among teens who are dating are common and definitely acceptable.

Kissing and hugs among family members are a common sign of affection, just as in most families. In cultures where kissing on the cheeks is used as a greeting, it is also acceptable.

Yes of course! But members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) are asked to avoid dating until they are 16 and to not have any sexual relationships outside of a legal heterosexual marriage, so they should not be doing more than kissing unless they are married!

Members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) are advised not to date until they are sixteen and are advised to avoid having a steady relationship until after high school. Most Mormon teens follow these guidelines, but not all do. They are just guidelines and are not required. As far as kissing is concerned, Mormons believe in being chaste and avoid 'passionate kissing' and sexual activity outside of marriage.

Well of course they can, they are physically capable of doing so. However, their religion strongly discourages it, so they shouldn't.

Unmarried members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) are expected to abstain from any sexual practices. The official guideline of the church says, "Before marriage, do not participate in passionate kissing, lie on top of another person, or touch the private, sacred parts of another person's body, with or without clothing. Do not do anything else that arouses sexual feelings. Do not arouse those emotions in your own body." (See 'For the Strength of Youth', Sexual Purity) This guidelines are expected of both teens and adults.

After marriage, what a married Mormon couple does in their own bedroom is their business alone.

You can read the sexual purity guidelines for yourself, as well as see related videos, sermons, and personal experiences at the "Related Links" below.

Most members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) have no problem with kissing those that they are dating before they are married. The church advises unmarried couples to avoid 'passionate kissing' (i.e. making out, french kissing, or any sort of kissing that is done while laying down), but it is common for Mormons do it anyway, especially if they are engaged or in a serious relationship.

Of course Mormons often kiss close family members as a sign of affection, and in some cultures it is customary to greet friends with a kiss on the cheek.
