No, there is far more water in groundwater than is found in lakes and rivers. According to the United States Geological Survey groundwater accounts for 1.7% of all water on Earth. Although much of the water we use in our everyday comes from lakes and rivers, all together these sources account for approximately 0.014% of the water on Earth. Source: Gleick, P. There is a small lake in Central Park, as well as several ponds, a reservoir and two streams. There's also a salt marsh and several ponds or springs in Inwood Park in Upper Manhattan, and I think Inwood Park also has some streams running through it, but I'm not entirely sure. Other than that, there are no lakes, ponds, streams or rivers in Manhattan. There are many streams (and possibly some lakes) below ground level in Manhattan, but not at ground level.
