There are a number of factors controlling how extensive this interference will be, meaning that in general it's not possible to tell ahead of time whether the imaging will work or not.
If the braces result in a poor image, you'll need to have them taken off so that the imaging can be redone.

∙ 13y agoNo! I have personally been in many an MRI with braces an I never had a problem. I did have to notify the doctors that I had braces but, otherwise, nothing out of the ordinary!
