Unlike biblical Christianity, Seventh-day Adventism was founded upon the 1844 deception of William Miller in the early 1840s. Of course, Jesus did not return on October 22, 1844 as Miller had predicted. Early Adventist pioneers were staunch Arians--not Trinitarians. Although the SDA Church claims to be Trinitarian today, their stance is actually Tritheism instead (three separate gods or beings united in purpose but not in essense or substance). While The Bible teaches that "God is spirit," Adventism teaches that God the Father has an actual physical body according to their revered prophetess and messenger, Ellen G. White. With few exceptions, Seventh-day Adventism and Christendom are on opposite sides of the theological spectrum. A former SDA minister, Dennis J. Fischer
Christian by definition means Christ-like or like Christ. Adventists are Christians that go by the bible.
Some do some don't it depends on the type of christian like SDA Christians (Seventh Day Adventists)
Seventh-day Adventists (like many Christians) believe that the birth of Jesus occurred during the reign of Caesar Augustus (per the Bible), and that His birth was in the spring (not the winter).
In certain ways, they are similar. However, there are lots of key differences, like the belief in Jesus Christ! But, the similarities lie in the fact that they both observe the original Sabbath of God, and that they both use Kosher laws to choose what is clean and unclean to eat. The other similarities are the same that lie between any Christian denomination and Judaism
They got angry with each other and they felt like they were betrayed by each other .
The Christians, like many other Romans, buried their dead in the catacombs.
They don't, unless they are practicing Christians, in which case they celebrate it like all other Christians.
Well...It depends on the party. If the party is made up of innocent fun, such as table games or a movie, and is held in a neutral location like a person's house, most Adventists would be okay with going. However, if the party includes drinking, etc. or is held in an inappropriate place like a bar, etc., most Adventists would not feel comfortable going, because most Adventists don't drink and the Adventist health message strongly discourages consumption of alcohol, tobacco, and other damaging substances, and because some locations can have a negative influence on an individual.
