A parent's obligation to their children is to make a safe and healthy home environment for them in which they can learn, thrive and grow into compassionate, responsible adults. If staying together with your spouse fulfills that obligation, then maybe there's a way to find the same path again, either through talk or counseling. If, however, it would ultimately be healthier for your children not to live in a tense or awkward household, then staying together may not be the best choice. _________________________ Two happy parents living seperately is better than two miserable parents living together, that makes for an unhappy home life. And then theres the parents, they deserve to be happy too.

Tricky territory, what a burden to put on your children. We stayed together, never had happiness, created no passion, lived in a loveless marriage BUT; we did it because WE LOVE YOU. Nah, I would rather be raised by parents that enjoy life, have passion ect, ect even if they are no longer married to each other. Thanks
