yes penguins are too heavy to fly. and their wings are used for swimming.
ostrich can't fly because there to heavy, they are called a flightless bird like penguins.
Golithbeetle are heavy to fly
If penguins could fly then they could get away from predators faster but then there would be an over population of penguins and at the zoo you would have to keep them in a cage and clean it. Also if penguins could fly the world could get over taken by penguins and we wouldn't be able to drive without seeing a sign that says: "beware of the penguins!" how would you feel if you saw that sign? I know that I would be terrified.
Penguins are too heavy for their short little wings to support them in the air. Under water, however, their flippers propel them quite well.
a penguin cant fly because its heavy also because they have smal feathers called pin feathers
Its too heavy to fly It cant fly
no they cant fly because they are too heavy
why can penguins not fly
I think you have the wrong idea here. No penguins can fly. They weigh around 900 grams on average and their body weight is too heavy for them to be able to carry it while in the air. Also, it has something to do with the type of feathers and the skeleton structure. Birds need a special type of feathers to be able to fly. They can 'fly' underwater because they are water dynamic, but not aero dynamic.
Penguins cannot fly because their bones are too dense, their overall weight is too great, and they do not really have flight feathers.
the vultures can fly and penguins can not fly
