Looking after mice can be difficult depending how much time you can spend with it a day. Mice need constant attention if you wish for them the become/stay tame. If you have a job or after school activities it is best to get two mice to keep each other company but you still MUST handle them and give them attention.
I hope this helps and if not i apologize.

Yes, pet mice are aloud pretty much everywhere.
no.
they are similar, but not the same. they are both rodents, but have different shaped faces, and mice are slightly smaller. gerbils have fury tails, mice have hairless ones.gerbils hop on their hind legs, mice crawl around. gerbils smell less, are more inteligent (usually), and become more tame (usually). mice are the easiest small pet to look after as they are the least inteligent small animal. gerbils are more fun, and still very easy to look after. most people prefer pet gerbils to pet mice.
yes the puppy dies cause Lennie pet it too hard and too much
the pet shop and they get them from breeders
Most mice like to be pet down their back and behind the ears. But do not pet them if they dont like to be petted.
Lennie has a fixation with petting soft things, like mice, because it gives him a sense of comfort and security. However, his strength and inability to control his own power often lead to him accidentally harming the mice, which causes him distress.
You can name your pet mice anything from Harry Potter to rex, Kevin Rudd to Flower. It's your pet it's your choice.
Your pet mice likely wont eat out of your hand because they are scared of you. Mice aren't exactly the kind of pet that's going to cuddle up and love you.
