There are no animals named "pistol fish." If you are referring to pistol shrimp (Alpheus digitalis), they are not endangered.
they eat other small shrimps and inverts by using there claw to shoot a blast that destroys other inverts exoskeleton
Pistol shrimps are cold-blooded animals, meaning their body temperature is regulated by the environment rather than internally. As ectothermic creatures, their metabolic processes depend on the surrounding water temperature. This allows them to thrive in various aquatic habitats, but they remain reliant on external conditions for their physiological needs.

Stian Hafstad (Brownie) and Jim Garvey (Blondie).... Or that's what I think. Not really sure about blondie though?
Say shrimp were greatly endangered. That would cause the shrimps prey's population to grow because its not being eaten. It would also cause the shrimps predator to die out because it has no food. Then the shrimp's predator's predator would start to out to because it has no food. So what started out as just the shrimp is now a whole mess of species that are endangered or even extinct!
