Plants are multicellular eukaryotes.of course,they cant retain their life depending upon one cell.plants have varied types of cells and tissues as in prarenchyma,collenchyma,xylem and phloem.

All plants aremulticellular accept for algae but algae is no longer considered a plant. It is considered a fungi. So YES plants are multicellular organisms but some people would say that they are both multicellular and unicellular. IT'S A GREAT DEBATE!!!
