Are rats good pets

Rats are awesome pets! I have a pet rat, and she is amazing! You can teach a rat many tricks, almost like a dog. You can teach them how to swim, how to balance on a rope, and even how to play fetch! Instead of holding my rat with my hands, I have her crawl onto my shoulders, and walk around my house with her on my shoulders. Rats need big cages, and they need to have bars. This is because they like to climb on their cages! Rats are fun, lovable, and just great to have around the house! I would definitely recommend a rat for a pet!

Rats are good pets if you have more than one and they are used to each other. DO NOT take rats if you don't plan on handling them frequently... they will bond to you and not as likely to try being aggressive.

I laugh at anyone who says rats ARENT good pets. They clearly have never had a pet rat. Rats are the best thing that has ever happened to me. My rats are sweet little babies, they love giving kisses and snuggling. They are very energetic and love to run around on my bed! Rats are incredibly smart creatures, that's why they are used in science experiments. o long story short, rats are AMAZING pets! They need plenty of attention tho, so never neglect your rats!
