Mental retardation means that the brain works more slowly than what is considered normal. Referring to someone with this condition as a "retard" is very ignorant. As mental retardation affects only thinking and learning, of course someone with this disability (better called, "different ability") can be strong. MR does not affect the body physically.
Generally those with Down's Syndrome have weak muscles.
Believe me, retarded people are not acting. People who play act, imitating what they believe is a retarded person's behavior, are simply ignorant and probably in desperate need of attention with a severely retarded self-esteem. Such 'actors' are considered bullies, ridiculing the defenselessness of another person.
Yes. They are naturally stronger than shorter people, unless they are anorexic. On average, tall people are stronger because longer limbs generate more leverage and have a greater range of motion.

The Supreme Court has ruled it is unconstitutional to EXECUTE ( for a capital crime) a mentally retarded person.
About 3-4% of the mentally retarded population is severely retarded.

It is not appropriate to refer to individuals as "retarded." It is important to use respectful and sensitive language when discussing people with intellectual disabilities.
That's subjective, but 100 is the average and 70 is retarded. 85 is pretty stupid, in my opinion. I can tolerate people until they fall into the 80's.

Average is 95-105. 26 is much below average and can be considered retarded. Did you mean 126? If so that is above average.
They were treated as criminals.
About 6-7.5 million mentally retarded individuals live in the United States alone.
