Currently, I have not heard any news on scientists cloning the Saber-toothed Tiger. As of December 2011, however, news broke that scientists plan to clone the wooly mammoth within five years. If this is a successful cloning, I will bet that scientists will pursue interest in cloning more extinct creatures.
Sabertoothed tiger
The real scientific name for sabertoothed tigers of all ages was smilodon.
There were many kinds of sabertoothed cats, and they varied in size from that of a large house cat to that of a tiger or lion, and some were even bigger. The classic saber toothed "tiger" is called Smilodon and the South American species could weigh up to 500 kgs!
Cats did not evolve from sabertoothed tigers. Rather, sabertoothed cats evolved from other cats. Modern apes evolved from miocene apes, which were somewhat similar. Miocene apes evolved from some lemur-like primate, or perhaps something like a lorise. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Loris
A lot of people will say lion , however they are wrong because they are just stupid lion fans that know nothing about a tiger's advantages. The tiger will win because it is stronger! heavier, more agile, bigger, has longer canines, is a better fighter, is smarter, and is not lazy and waits for females to hunt. Tigers rule and lions are no sicken beans
The Siberian tiger's paw size is aproximately 5.5 inches in length. Considering all things, that's a HUGE pawprint.
Considering the tiger has a its own bright and eye catching pattern, a light colored simple frame would look best.
Maybe. They are the same
probably alot considering there weight .no small animal eats a small amount
Considering the liger is more like the lion than the tiger I suggest savannahs.
Similes are comparisons where you compare one thing to another that has some similarity. A simile will use the words "like" or "as" to compare. "As strong as a tiger" is a simile comparing someone's strength to that of a big cat.
Considering muscle to weight ratio, i would imagine a bear would come out on top, although the tiger may be able to out run the bear. Bit of an odd question perhaps?
