no, Recon also the USMC has Force Recon... The Marines special operations are classified under MARSOC and have rigorous training for the Marines you have to first be in an infantry unit for four years then reenlist and go through sometimes it takes two years of training so six years total. plus RECON are the elite of the elite. Navy isn't elite only seals are elite and all Marines are elite but RECON is the tougher group. SEALS are still tough just not like RECON, different training. USMC Carlos Hathcock, Recon sniper has 93 confirmed kills. CHESTY Puller USMC awarded four navy crosses for bravery second highest under Medal of Honor and he had four of them. USMC John Basilone held off 3,000 enemy troops with their own machine gun with one other Marine whom was killed in the battle of Guadalcanal during the second world war and then single handedly hacked up three enemies with his jungle machete and for this was awarded the Medal of honor. but respect both.
SEALs
Marine Force Recon is a branch of MARSOC (Marine Special Operations Command) and their job is to locate HVT's (High Value Targets) and other threats for the main infantry. There is no question about it, they are the most elite fighters in the United States. Many say that Navy SEALs are more elite, but there are over 3,000 SEALs in the world, and only about 300 Force Recon Marines in the world.
Navy SEALs
Marines are not on par with the Seals. Marines are a regular force, seals are special operations. A more likely match would be Marine Recon Vs Seal
Tougher Than Leather was created in 1987.
Tougher Than Love was created in 1994.
Both Navy Seals and US Marine Force Recon are effective fighting forces, but they have different missions. Seals operate on a very small- unit individual mission basis, as their killing of Osama bin Laden demonstrated, while Marine Recon will scout a battlefield and destroy any key defenses prior to a Marine assault. Neither is 'better'; both are incredibly effective at what they do.
Both jobs are extremely demanding. One person who qualifies as a SEAL might consider a Marine recon unit to be tougher, yet would always consider themselves the best. The Marine recon team would also feel the same way. Such pride is expected in their teams and expected. As to fact, it depends on the situation, as their training is different (with overlaps of course).
Tougher Than the Rest was created in 1988-06.
IITJEE is tougher than CA.
Mike is TOUGHER than jacob
Probably, but you wouldn't want to, often guys go from Force Recon to SEALs. SEALs are the top, if someone wanted to stop operating, they would transition to a job still involved with the Navy Special Warfare community, not to another branch or to a different community, you don't go through the things you have to in order to be a SEAL just to go back, SEALs start off in things like Force Recon amd Army SF. Being a SEAL is the ultimate goal
