Clastic sedimentary rocks are formed by the weathering, erosion, deposition, compaction and cementation of other rocks.
Chemical sedimentary rocks however may be precipitated directly from saturated solutions (examples incldue the evaporitic rocks and certain types of carbonates such as oolitic limestones).
Some other sedimentary rocks may be biogenic in origin (such as the linmestones that are formed of coral reefs).
Weathering and erosion can lead to the deposition, compaction, cementation of sedimentary particles , or precipitation of minerals over time, which leads to the formation of sedimentary rock. Weathering and erosion are not causes of sedimentary rock formation, but processes which can lead to sedimentary rock formation.
bla bla bla
All rocks can become igneous rocks. With weathering and erosion, an igneous rock can become a sediment. Then with compaction and cementation, it can become a sedimentary rock. With heat and pressure, it will turn into a metamorphic rock. Or it can melt and turn into an igneous rock. There are many more ways rocks can change types... that is the rock cycle.

Sedimentary rock melts, then it cools to form Igneous rock. Hoped this helped. :)
Everything. There is so many ways to change rocks. Erosion by Wind and Water. Earthquakes/Plate Tectonics, Subduction leading to metamorphism and ultimately melting and becoming Igneous. Man.

It can affect the shape of sediment because it is scraping very slowly against it causing it to change,
Sedimentary rocks can change to igneous rock when it goes through the rock cycle so a sediment can move to igneous rock where there is a volcanic activity happens making the the sediment get heat and pressure that makes igneous rock.So when you do the rock cycle you can go from igneous rock to a metamorphic rock.
