All rocks can become igneous rocks.
With weathering and erosion, an igneous rock can become a sediment. Then with compaction and cementation, it can become a sedimentary rock. With heat and pressure, it will turn into a metamorphic rock. Or it can melt and turn into an igneous rock.
There are many more ways rocks can change types... that is the rock cycle.
There are lots of different types of rocks in the world.
Metamorphic and Igneous are two types.
sedimentary rocks
Volcanic rocks are extrusive igneous rocks.
There are three main types of rocks: igneous, sedimentary, and composites. Igneous rocks are formed when sedimentary or composite rocks experience extremes of heat and pressure. Sedimentary rocks are formed when smaller particles are overlaid for extended periods of time. Composite rocks are formed a mixture of elements under pressure.
igneous, sedimentary, metamorphic
igneous rocks
Igneous rocks are rocks that are type of rock that forms from molten rock.
Igneous rocks can be transformed not made but i think you are asking what types of rocks are igneous rocks well any rock that had once been lava/molten is an igneous rock and lava/molten comes from volcano. You might want to search on Google-types of igneous rocks or how can igneous rocks be transformed. From Ayushi:)
Metamorphic rocks become igneous rocks by melting from heat and pressure, remnants of which may cool from melt (magma) and become components of igneous rock.
Igneous, sedimentary, and metamorphic rocks are the three main types of rocks. Igneous rocks are formed from the cooling of molten rock, sedimentary rocks from the accumulation of sediment, and metamorphic rocks from the transformation of existing rocks under heat and pressure.
Two types of igneous rocks are intrusive igneous rocks, which form from magma that cools and solidifies beneath the Earth's surface, and extrusive igneous rocks, which form from lava that cools and solidifies on the Earth's surface.
There are lots of different types of rocks in the world.
Igneous Rocks,Sedimentary Rocks,Metamorphic Rocks.
Phaneritic is the texture of igneous rocks. These types of rocks crystallized slowly.
They are all igneous rocks.
Sedimentary and Igneous rocks are not metamorphic rocks. Metamorphic rocks however are igneous or sedimentary rocks that have undertaken metamorphism (In extreme heat and/or pressure the minerals are forced to recrystalize) and become metamorphic rocks. If the heat/pressure causes the rock to melt into liquid rock than it is no longer metamorphi, it is igneous. Hope this helps :)
