Sikhs do not believe in idol worship at all. However, they are not contemptuous of Hindus believing in this practice to my knowledge and most Sikhs were converted from Hinduism. Addition: Sikhism believes in One God and therefore don't view the Hindu deities as God. At best there are seen as Spiritual Guide and certainly there is no contemptuous.
