Brown garden snails, in my opinion, aren't that dangerous. I know this from experience. I take care of brown garden snails right now, and touch them all the time. So far, during the past 1 year, I haven't had any skin problems, or been sick in any way because of these harmless creatures. Actually, I am trying very hard not to hurt THEM. If I drop them, they're shells are actually pretty delicate, and sometimes a bit of it gets crushed. They grow it back though, thankfully, but brown garden snails are NOT dangerous. No poison, no sharp teeth. Don't be worried.
