Yes they are, there are only around 7000 snow leopards left in the wild at the most but as they are so elusive no one is sure it could be as little as 3500 and if this helps snow leopards are sparsely distributed across 12 countries in Central Asia: china, Bhutan, Nepal, india, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, and Mongolia. china contains as much as 60% of the snow leopard's habitat and yes, snow leopards are an endangered specie and the reason for this is because humans hunt them for there fur. Not much is known about them as they like to hide from humans and they live in the snow and are very camouflaged.
Yes. Snow Leopards are a severly endangered species, it is estimated that there are only 7500 individuals left in the world
