Some people will keep 2 and then they will have babies, also very cute. If your going to buy one, you should check out in Google about where it's from, and what it does or eats.

The reason is that sugar gliders are very high maintenance pets -- and of course babies are very high maintenance. I would recommend that the pregnant woman adjust first to being a new mom before she dives into owning sugar gliders.
